Well, last year it was my left eye (not golf related although I have nearly lost my right eye while playing), this year it is my right knee, which is in big part golf related. I underwent a second arthroscopy yesterday.
I have published a lot recently about how we now understand the inner workings of the grip and its knock-on effects of compensations for different people, which can lead to lack of accuracy, consistency, speed, and in some cases, injuries ! Thanks to the hard work of my mentors, this injury has let me understand it all even better, and is ultimately helping my coaching, on top of all of the other things I am continuing to learn about..
I am also learning very fast, how to adapt this information to every client’s level, from beginner to tour player, male, female, older and younger, and simply loving every minute, thanks in big part also to the help from our club’s partners, FlightScope.
In this vein, I will firstly be adapting my YouTube Channel and developing it much more. In order for me to be able to bring you more useful and free content, please consider subscribing to the channel and sharing it with friends and family if you wish, as well as liking which content you find helpful, so that I can bring you more of it. I am also aiming to showcase our great club to the world more as I go along, and it will not be “too technical” ! It will be divided into various content sections. The video below will lead you to the channel, as well as to various links including my updated website as well.
Finally, look out for my winter program / special offers, which were a success last year, and will be even better this year. I will publish the details next week.
For now, sit back and enjoy this short video about what we can all learn from the world’s number one player, enjoy the Masters, and to everyone competing in our Club Champs this weekend – keep it on the fairways and keep grinding out there, perhaps I’ll see you on Sunday albeit on crutches ! |
