| Hope you are all warm and well! It was a very exciting moment on Wednesday when I played the “new” 18th hole for the first time and I must say I thought it would be more intimidating! Maybe once the tees move back it will be a little harder, so for now, enjoy it as a soft closing hole… swallowing your balls from time to time!

| The road to the Investec SA Open… |
| With only 188 days to go before the first tee shot will be striped in the 115th Investec SA Open, we hope the weather will warm up soon… The tee boxes on the course and driving range still need to be completed and we hope to start and finish them before hollow-tining during the middle of September. The seeding of the rough will only happen in October and the bunkers will be opened after hollow-tining. During the hollow-tining week extensive tree pruning will also take place. We are both positive and excited about getting the course ready for this major event at the club. Please feel free to let me know if you have any questions? |
| The floodgates literally opened on the 12th hole as we are installing much-needed cut-off drains and drainage in the fairway bunkers. Our irrigation dam will be filling up in no time now. Once again, thank you for your patience as we continue our journey to the Investec SA Open in February. |
