| Right, here we go with this week’s news from the DOG… Entries for the Jetmaster Stellenbosch Club Championships have closed and the pre-qualifying round for the Open Divisions will be played this coming Sunday, 6 April. All the other divisions entries could be accommodated in 2025 – yipeeeee!
We are very excited to welcome everyone participating in this year’s Club Championships on the 12th and 13th of April, and as always, I’m sure it will be an exciting finish, with some great hospitality around the 18th green once again.
I’ve said it before and I’m going to say it again – all of us know someone (could even be yourself) that’s made a Hole-in-one – but how many of you know someone that’s made 4 x two clubs in the same round? If you do, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. |
| David Rossouw almost did it on Saturday, after making birdies on the 7th, 13th and 15th holes (wonder what happened on the 9th?) during the morning competition. It definitely still deserves a big round of applause, well done David! |
| Blaauwklippen Mix Comp & Quiz |
| If you have not joined us for a Monthly Mix Competition & Quiz evening, you are missing out – BIG TIME! Not even the school holidays could dampen the spirits and as always, it was a great day and evening, this month proudly presented by Blaauwklippen. Congratulations to our quiz winners (winning in a play-off), Eon and Kalla Venter and Ulrike and Uli Stolte, they also finished in 3rd place on the day. Runners-up were Leonie and Willem Malherbe who played with Mollie Kern and Corne Burger. Our March Mix Champions are… Grant and Sanelle Hobbs who was joined by Pieter and Anneke Odendaal, with their 85 Stableford points in the alliance format.
Well done to them and thank you very, very much to everyone for joining us. Super shoutout to Blaauwklippen for their wonderful sponsorship during the month of March. |
