Hello my fellow golfers,
It’s been a while since my last video…I have been asked so many times in the last couple of months now “From what roads can I take relief?” Enjoy the video and the answer will be provided.
Roads and paths (Rule 16)
All roads and cart paths are an immovable obstruction. Interference by an immovable obstruction occurs when a ball lies in or on the obstruction, or when the obstruction interferes with the player’s stance or the area of his intended swing. The player must lift the ball and drop it without penalty within one club-length of and not nearer the hole than the nearest point of relief.
Ps. Don’t forget to enter the Stellenbosch GC Knockout Competitions in the Pro Shop – only one week to go before the closing date!
All the best,
Louis
