| As we approach the festive season, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas and a joyful holiday period. Thank you for being part of what has truly been a wonderful year at Stellenbosch Golf Club. Your support, camaraderie, and love for the game have made the past 12 months incredibly special, and we look forward with great excitement to an even better 2026.
Christmas is a time for giving, and this year our gift to South Africa – and the golfing world – will be a superbly presented golf course as we proudly prepare to host the 115th Investec SA Open in February. The course is already beginning to look the part, and with a little teamwork from all of us, it will be something we can be immensely proud of.
You will notice that all green surrounds have been roped off and staked. These areas are vital to the final preparation of the course, and we kindly ask all members – and their guests – to please respect these zones and keep golf carts well clear. A little care now will go a long way in ensuring we showcase Stellenbosch GC at its absolute best.
Let us stand together in showing the world just how beautiful our club is as we welcome players and visitors to the Heart of the Winelands. After all, few things say “Christmas spirit” quite like pristine fairways, perfect greens, and a club we can all be proud of.
For those remaining in the area over the festive season, we warmly invite you to enjoy some golf, lunches, and dinners at the club with family and friends. There truly is no better place to celebrate this special time of year than right here at Stellenbosch Golf Club.
In closing, 2025 has genuinely been a fantastic year for the club, and we are grateful that you have shared the journey with us. Thank you for your continued support, your laughter, your patience, and of course, your passion for the game.
Wishing you a blessed Christmas, a safe holiday, and plenty of good golf. We look forward to welcoming you back refreshed and ready for an exciting 2026.
Feliz Navidad, |
