The course is looking fantastic, the rough is up, and Stellenbosch GC is almost ready to welcome the world at the end of the month. There’s a long list of special events planned both on and off the course, and I truly hope to see all of you here.

| Following a very successful Captain’s Day, proudly brought to you by Investec, it’s a privilege to announce the winner of the competition that has been running over the past few weeks. Isak Theron, a long-standing member of the club, has won the draw and will be receiving two VIP tickets to attend the Investec SA Open. Congratulations, Isak, I’m sure it’s going to be an unforgettable experience!

| The annual Town vs. Country Derby took place on Monday, 26 January, at Paarl Golf Club. Teams from Western Province and Boland went head-to-head, with the Boland team selected based on previous league performances.
Stellenbosch was proudly represented by Joanne Anthony (A Division), Wilbe Myburgh (B Division) and Ruth Barclay (C Division). Boland claimed the A and B divisions, while Western Province triumphed in the C Division.

| Important update: HNA system is live |
| Please see the important update below from HNA regarding their new system now being live. Please note that although the system is fully operational, it is not yet available on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. This process is managed by the app stores themselves and is outside of HNA’s direct control. The app will be available in due course. |
| We are thrilled to announce that the HNA system migration is complete and the new platform is officially live and running!
Golfer Activation Steps
To get started, members can visit www.handicaps.co.za and log in (top right) and follow these steps:
Select Your Federation: Choose your country i.e. Golf RSA; Zimbabwe, Malawi etc. from the bottom row of federations.
Sign up: Select “Sign up with your (Your Federation/Country name)” located just below the menu.
Log In: Enter your Player ID (as shown on your Handicaps card) and set a new password to begin using the new system.
Forgotten your Player ID?
If you are unsure of your number, click the link under “Do you have an existing Member number?”. Enter your registered email address, and the system will automatically email your Player ID to you.
App Update
While the core system is fully operational, the new HNA Handicaps App is currently pending final publication by the Apple and Android App Stores. This delay is unfortunately outside of our direct control, but we expect the apps to go live shortly.

| Following the Investec SA Open, we’ll be hosting a very exciting Monday Play It Like the Pros event in the afternoon. Please see the poster and don’t delay in booking your 4-ball. This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the final round Sunday set-up exactly as the professionals played it. This day will include green fees, halfway, dinner and super prizes for those performing the best on the day. Can’t wait to welcome you all after the round for a great dinner, live music and listen to all the stories. Yes please!
For those who aren’t able to join on Monday, don’t worry! You’ll also have the chance to play the course on Tuesday and Wednesday. Bookings for these two days will open as normal on the 17th & 18th of February via the ClubMaster app, and you are welcome to play from any tee box you prefer.
